Swiss National Dinner

August 1st was a Swiss National Holiday! And in true Slow Food fashion we celebrated it with a traditional dinner.

Sangria, wine, caprese, watermelon mint feta salad, tomato chickpea cumin salad

Capuns, typical food from Grabunden. similar to spaetzle, these things were wrapped with chard, topped with pancetta and covered in a light cream sauce. not light fare! but hey, it's cold in Switzerland.

Tuorta da nusch. This cake! oh this cake. It was filled with caramalized walnuts

crepe cake layered with pomegranate jelly
